Even as the Bhubaneswar leg of the women's FIH Pro League 2024-25 season gathers steam, the Santiago del Estero leg is set to begin on February 20 and will run concurrently. Watch the women's hockey matches live on TV and online. (More Hockey News)

The Argentinian city of Santiago del Estero had earlier hosted the first phase of matches in December 2024, with hosts Argentina squaring off against Netherlands and Germany. This time, Argentina are welcoming Belgium and Australia from February 20 to 25.

After the Bhubaneswar and Santiago del Estero games are done, the FIH Pro League will break and resume in June in separate legs at Amstelveen, Netherlands and Valencia, Spain. The nine-team competition will conclude on June 29 with matches in Antwerp, Belgium and Berlin, Germany.

The winners of the league will receive a direct ticket to the 2026 FIH Hockey World Cup which will be held in the Netherlands and Belgium, while the team finishing last will be replaced by the winners of the FIH Hockey Nations Cup in the next season.

Meanwhile, South Korea were knocked out by the defending champions, India, with a 1-4 defeat in the semi-final. In their pool stage encounter, South Korea had previously played to a 2-2 draw against their next opponent,windream ph Pakistan.
